The awaited response of the Government to August’s Select Committee Report into Students and Universities was published on the 20th October.  A copy can be found on the parliament website at  http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm200809/cmselect/cmsctech/991/991.pdf

Telic (Greek for purposeful action) is a new blog by Adam Warren of LATEU about Technology Enhanced Learning (i.e. the topic formerly known as e-learning) which offers a combination of news, advice, ‘how-to’s and discussion. You can find it here – and linked from the Blogroll on the right.

The programme for Learning and Teaching Week has been finalised and is available on our website and in the flyers which we have just distributed to Schools and Services. Look out for posters advertising the event as well – it is based around one of the many superb public photos of the University available on Flickr, the photo-sharing website.

We have now launched our new LATEU website and an updated Quality Handbook. Both are packed with useful information and resources.

We would welcome any feedback about the sites – for example, have we missed anything? If you have any comments, then please get in touch with us!
