EDIT4L project on pedagogic design skills

EDIT4L (Evaluation of Design and Implementation Tools for Learning) focused on the pedagogic design skills of staff in Higher Education. The project took existing tools and explored their use and integration within Initial Entry and Continuing Professional Development Programmes, which were well established within the partner institutions. Wider experience of design methodology and use of the tools was made available through CPD workshops offered nationally. The project identified success factors for embedding design tools into staff development programmes and explored initial specifications for the future developments of toolkits, as requested by the participants in workshops. This led to the adaptation of an e-learning development model to aid discussion of the scope of use of different tools, in the development of online or offline learning resources.
